Loin or leg steaks
Thickness 1-2cm(½-¾")
Cooking Time 12-16 minutes

  • 2 Lean pork chops
  • 150ml (¼pt) Cider
  • 5mlsp (1tsp) Mustard
  • 2 Garlic cloves, sliced
  • Red wine & garlic
  • 150ml (¼pt) red or white wine
  • 2x15mlsp (2tbsp) fresh chopped herbs
  • 2x15mlsp (1tbsp) olive oil
  • 2 cloves of garlic crushed
  • Tomato & herb marinade
  • 3x15mlsp (3tbsp) tomato ketchup
  • 2x15mlsp(2tbsp) red wine vinegar
  • 15mlsp(1tbsp) olive oil
  • 15mlsp (1tbsp) fresh chopped basil
  • 15mlsp(1tbsp) fresh chopped thyme and seasoning
In a dish mix together the cider, mustard and garlic. Add the pork chops and
turn over to coat in the marinade. Cover, refrigerate and leave to marinate for 30
minutes to 1 hour.

Grill or BBQ the chops for 16-20 minutes, turning over half way through the cooking time.

Serve the chops with a Caesar salad and roasted or barbecued red onions.
