Spicy Lamb Naan with Cucumber and Lime Dressing

  • 225g (8oz) Lean lamb leg steaks
  • 5mlsp (1tsp) Ground cumin
  • 5mlsp (1tsp) Ground coriander
  • 5mslp (1tsp) Olive oil
  • 1 Red onion, thinly sliced
  • 2 Garlic cloves, squashed
  • 5 Cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 2x15mlsp (2tbsp) Crème frâiche
  • ¼ Cucumber, chopped
  • 1 Lime, juice and zest
  • 2 Naan bread
Cut the leg steaks into thin strips. Add to them the ground cumin and coriander.

Heat the olive oil in a frying pan and fry the onion and garlic. Cook for 1-2 minutes and then add lamb strips. Cook for 3-4 minutes. Finally add the cherry tomatoes and cook until just softened.

Meanwhile make Cucumber and Lime dressing - Mix together the crème frâiche, cucumber, lime juice and zest.

Heat 2 naan breads in the oven for 2-3 minutes until warmed through and soft. Spoon the lamb mix into the centre of the naan bread. Add spoonfuls of cucumber and lime dressing and carefully fold in two edges before serving.
