Kids Burgers: Pork and Cheeseburgers with Sweetcorn Mayonnaise

  • 450g (1lb) Lean minced pork
  • 50g (2oz) Red Leicester or Double Gloucester cheese
  • Sweetcorn Mayonnaise:
  • 2x15mlsp (2tbsp) Mayonnaise
  • 2x15mlsp (2tbsp) Canned sweetcorn
  • ½ Red pepper, seeded and finely chopped
Place the lean minced pork in a bowl. Cut the cheese into small cubes, add to the mince and mix thoroughly.

Divide the mixture into 4 or 6 and shape into burgers. Place on a hot pre-heated BBQ or under a pre-heated grill for 4-6 minutes each side until thoroughly cooked.

Meanwhile mix mayonnaise, sweetcorn and red pepper together.
Serving Suggestions:
Serve the pork burgers with crusty bread, sweetcorn mayonnaise, homemade chips and cherry tomatoes.
